Preston Hollow: A Prestigious Dallas Neighborhood
Preston Hollow is located 6 miles north of downtown Dallas, with Preston Road acting as the main arterial road for the area. Our own Terry Box of The Dallas Morning News said that the corridor Preston Road travels through is referred to as the "golden corridor" of Dallas, because of the enormous number of wealthy residents and businesses.
Preston Hollow is bordered by Royal Lane to the north, Hillcrest Road to the east, and the Northwest Highway to the south. There's also a large shopping center called Preston Center about 5 minutes away with all the best stores and restaurants!

Why Do Residents Choose Preston Hollow?
Parks & Recreation
Right in the middle of the town is Preston Hollow Park, which has two baseball fields, a basketball court, playground, picnic tables, and trails everywhere! The homeowner's associations organize all kinds of groups and clubs in the area that use the parks and local neighborhoods.
Attractions
For practical shopping, locals enjoy the options of Whole Foods, Central Market, TJ’s Fresh Seafood, Tom Thumb, and Natural Grocers, which are all within a mile of each other. And they’re excited that Trader Joe’s is on its way soon! NorthPark Center, of course, is a flagship of Dallas shopping. Bachendorf’s, La Lobe (the place to get your piercings), and Adrift (a new, one-of-a-kind float spa) are also favorites.

Most of Preston Hollow's families send their children to private school, so there are many to choose from! Ursuline Academy of Dallas, a Catholic girls' high school, is located in the Estate area of Preston Hollow, while non-Catholic private schools within Preston Hollow North include St. Mark's School of Texas for grades 1-12 and Preston Hollow Presbyterian School (grades 1-6), Episcopal School of Dallas (pre-K-12), and Jesuit College Preparatory School of Dallas, with many other private schools surrounding the area.
